Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees and weigh out your cupcake ingredients
Beat together the butter, sugar and vanilla paste until light and fluffy, then add the egg and flour and beat until combined
Spoon your mixture into cases and cook at 180 for 15-20 mins until golden brown. Then leave to cool!
Next, keeping the oven at 180 degrees, weigh out your biscuit topper ingredients
Add butter and sugar into flour and mix together by hand, rubbing together to make a sand-like consistency
Scrunch together to make a dough and roll out on a floured surface to roughly a 1cm thickness
Using a circular biscuit cutter, cut out 12x circles. Cook at 180 for 8-10 mins until a light golden brown and set, and then leave to cool
Next, weigh out ingredients for the icing for your biscuit toppers, and whisk together in a mixer until combined
Divide the icing into separate bowls and colour accordingly with icing food colouring
Then, fill mini piping bags with your different colour icings
Using a piping bag, ice the characters and Halloween shapes onto the biscuit toppers and leave to set
Finally, weigh out the ingredients for your buttercream to top your cupcakes
Beat all the ingredients together until light and fluffy, and then attach star-nozzle to a piping bag and fill piping bag with icing
Pipe the buttercream neatly onto each of your cupcakes once they have completely cooled
Place your decorated biscuit toppers onto the icing and enjoy your PJ Masks cupcake creations!
